As a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) Engineer you will join the GN&C team that performs vehicle design, algorithm & flight software development, mission performance analysis, hardware integration, and integrated system level testing, all from proposal through launch and flight operations. The candidate should have a complete understanding to work under only general direction with at least one of the following: Hardware CPE, Mission Design (including orbit determination, trajectory planning, attitude planning), Attitude Controls, Attitude Determination, Relative Navigation, Integrated FSW/Sim and Testbed Simulation, or Payload Controls. It is desired that the candidate is familiar with common software development processes and with software tools used during development (including MATLAB, Simulink, Visual Studio, and configuration management software). The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that delivers a small spacecraft that meets the performance of its required features / capabilities.
