The W80\\-4 program is currently seeking project managers to work with the system engineering team\\. The roles entail management of broad, high\\-level scope and engagement with both internal and external stakeholders\\. The daily tasks may include:
+ Active participation in customer meetings
+ Development and presentation of briefings
+ Managing scope according to the customers programmatic requirements
+ Assessment of project risks
+ Managing action items and deliverables
+ Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or degree relevant to project management accountabilities and 5 years of demonstrated experience in Project Management; or Master's degree in relevant discipline and 2 or more years of demonstrated experience in Project Management
+ Demonstrated leadership skills and experience training and mentoring new team members
+ Experience proposing and implementing programmatic processes and procedures
+ Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills\\.

+ Proficiency in tools and applications commonly employed in project management activities\\.
+ Knowledge of management practices, assurance processes, business operations, fiscal and scheduling systems, and acquisition standards\\.
+ Demonstrated experience in making risk informed decisions and communicating across project disciplines\\.
+ Active Q or Top Secret clearance\\.
+ Experience with Earned Value Management \\(EVM\\)\\.
+ Experience with EV tools, such as Cobra, Acumen, Primavera, or wInsight
+ Experience working nuclear weapon programs/projects at the system and component levels\\.
+ Experience working with the Department of Energy, the National Nuclear Security Administration, or the Department of Defense\\.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage projects involving substantial resources \\($30M/year or greater\\)\\.
+ Experience in managing successful projects throughout all phases\\.
+ Demonstrated experience with configuration management, budgeting, tracking, quality assurance, EVMS \\(Earned Value Management Systems\\)
+ Ability to achieve PMP requirement applicable to level
+ Demonstrated teaming skills, including the ability to work effectively with other organizations, functions, project sponsors and customers, and suppliers\\.
The W80\\-4 Project Management department is responsible for providing Project Management support to the W80\\-4 Life Extension Program \\(LEP\\) system team at the Sandia National Laboratories\\. The department is also an integral part of the Division 8000 Nuclear Weapons \\(NW\\) Project Management Office \\(PMO\\)\\. The NW Programs are responsible for assuring the safety, reliability and security of U\\.S\\. nuclear weapons, enabling the defense of our nation through our nuclear strategic deterrent\\. The Nuclear Weapons Programs three principal thrusts are: \\(1\\) overseeing the enduring nuclear weapons stockpile; \\(2\\) innovative analyses and evolution of warhead systems, subsystems, and components; their production and deployment; along with the development of supporting technologies; \\(3\\) and the safe, effective, and environmentally responsible dismantlement and disposal of weapons retired from the stockpile\\. Informed with professional expertise in programmatic disciplines, the department provides and employs program/project management \\(PM\\) resources to plan, execute, manage, and report scope, cost, schedule, performance, requirements, risk and opportunities management, aspects of quality assurance, and information management functions associated with W80\\-4 LEP\\. This team partners with the System Engineering team and provides knowledge of PM methodologies and tools to enable the technical line organizations to perform, oversee, and execute the scope for the W80\\-4 LEP\\.
