ResponsibilitiesThe Cloud Infrastructure leader will be responsible for playing a hands-on role in planning, directing, and coordinating the design, installation, and connectivity of all compute, network, and storage infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of Workforce??s public and private clouds supporting all WorkForce product offerings.Duties and responsibilitiesBuild, configure, and manage all compute, network and storage infrastructure for WorkForce??s data centers and Azure instances worldwide.Technical lead on systems, networking, and capacity planning for new infrastructure projects to support customers, services, engineering, support, and DevOps teams.Develop processes and procedures for using private and public cloud-based infrastructures, including new services, break/fix, disaster recovery, and security.Create deployment architectures that are fault tolerant and deliver high availability.Develop and maintain mitigation plans for all data center infrastructure anticipating issues and risksBuild best practice and deployment documentation for all infrastructures.Manage all contracts and costs for WorkForce data centers and cloud deployments.Think about security over ease of use and providing guidance to manage risk for the business.Required qualifications 5-10 years?? experience in infrastructure design and data center management.Strong technical understanding of VMware; Pure Storage, Cisco Networks and security appliances,Network expertise including routing, switching, IP addresses and subnets, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, etc.Expertise in transition from traditional bare-metal to virtualized technologiesExperience with deploying alerting and monitoring frameworks.Ability to operate within a collaborative team framework.Strong organization and planning skills as you will ensure all infrastructure requirements are in place in advance customer and stakeholder needs.Exceptional communication skills with ability to communicate vision, strategy, key objectives, plans, and technical details to all audience levels.Excellent analytical and quantitative analysis skills.Desired qualificationsFamiliarity and experience with Agile, iterative methodologiesExperience with infrastructure supporting SaaS product offeringsExperience managing a change control environmentEducationBachelor??s Degree in related field or minimum 7 years equivalent experience.TravelUp to 5% Associated topics: equipment, infrastructure, ip, network, satcom, server, system engineer, system specialist, system technician, technician
